Low voltage technician

Type: Full-time

Experience level: Mid-level (2–5+ years)

Location: On-site / Field-based

We are seeking an experienced low voltage technician to install, service, and support low-voltage systems for commercial and light-industrial customers. This role is hands-on and field-based, responsible for running cable, installing and terminating devices, and ensuring systems are installed cleanly, safely, and to industry standards. The ideal candidate has prior experience with security cameras, access control, alarms, and structured cabling, and takes pride in high-quality workmanship.

Key responsibilities:

Install, terminate, and test low-voltage cabling (Cat5e/Cat6, coax, fiber preferred)

Install and configure IP and analog security cameras (including NVRs/DVRs)

Install access control systems, including door readers, strikes, mag locks, and REX devices

Install intrusion alarm systems and related sensors

Read and interpret drawings, floor plans, and system designs

Perform device mounting, cable management, labeling, and documentation

Troubleshoot and repair low-voltage systems as needed

Follow safety standards, job site rules, and company procedures

Communicate professionally with customers, project managers, and team members

Maintain tools, company equipment, and job site cleanliness

Required qualifications:

2–5+ years of experience as a low voltage or security systems technician

Strong knowledge of structured cabling and industry best practices

Hands-on experience with security cameras, access control, and alarm systems

Ability to work from ladders, lifts, and in ceiling spaces

Basic networking knowledge (IP addressing, PoE, switches preferred)

Valid driver’s license and reliable transportation

Ability to work independently or as part of a team

Preferred qualifications:

Manufacturer certifications (e.g., Verkada, Ubiquiti, Axis, HID, etc.)

Experience with PoE/PoE+ switches and network racks

Familiarity with firestopping and code compliance

OSHA 10 or 30 certification

Experience with service calls and customer-facing work

Physical requirements:

Ability to lift up to 50 lbs

Comfortable working on ladders and lifts

Ability to work in tight spaces, attics, and above ceilings

Level 2 network technician

Type: Full-time

Experience level: Mid-level (2–5+ years)

Location: On-site

We are seeking a skilled Level 2 network and desktop support technician to join our IT support team. In this role, you will provide advanced troubleshooting and technical support for end-user devices and network infrastructure. You will also resolve escalated issues from Level 1 support, ensure endpoint stability, and maintain network connectivity for smooth business operations.

Key responsibilities:

Troubleshoot and resolve network issues, including connectivity, DNS, DHCP, and VPN

Configure and support network hardware (e.g., routers, switches, firewalls)

Monitor network performance and escalate major incidents when needed

Support remote connectivity and ensure secure access via VPN or remote tools

Provide Level 2 support for Windows and macOS systems, including installation,configuration, and troubleshooting

Diagnose and resolve hardware and software issues for desktops, laptops, printers, and peripherals

Set up new workstations and manage imaging, software deployment, and updates

Support users via remote tools or on-site assistance

Manage user accounts, permissions, and access in Active Directory and Office 365

Assist with password resets, MFA setup, and basic access troubleshooting

Perform routine patching of endpoints and assist in antivirus and endpoint protection deployment

Support compliance with internal IT security standards and best practices

Required qualifications:

2-5 years of experience in a desktop/network support role

Excellent organizational skills, troubleshooting, and communication

Associate's degree in IT or related field, or equivalent experience

Strong understanding of networking protocols (TCP/IP, DNS, DHCP, VPN)

Proficient in Windows and macOS environments

Experience with Active Directory and Office 365 administration
